About Us
Our Mission
Navajo Grove is a neighborhood beautification project situated at the base of the East Jefferson/Chalmers neighborhood. We've transformed multiple vacant lots into an urban garden on Navahoe Street, nestled in the core of Detroit, Michigan.
At Navajo Grove, we're nurturing a green space that offers a natural background for Individuals seeking an open air, semi-private event space.
Progress
We envision Navajo Grove a two sided campus.
Our Community Demonstration Garden will offer gardening classes, meandering walk ways and solar powered charging stations. The native flowers and shrubs welcome butterflies, hummingbirds and bees which are essential to any garden.
Navajo Grove's Event Center will mirror the opposite side of the street. The "N.G.E.C." will house our larger gatherings.
Both greenspaces will be available for either, educational or recreational purposes.
